Team preview (v4.2): you land on the Schedule — the live who/where/when. The Spreadsheet tab is where all editing happens — Excel keys (type→Tab→type), full undo, typeahead tech references, bulk actions, site-list import with auto-created open seats, Roll Crew Forward, and the new Entry Guards: margin and consistency flags that catch costly typos and thin-margin entries (try typing a Pay of 50 against a $55 Bill). New in v4.7: ⇪ New Project from site list — upload the customer\u2019s file first, CPS parses it, prefills the PDS wizard (customer + rollout shape), and the sites land as open seats on finish. Plus v4.5\u2019s: 🔍 Find a tech — press / or the button top-right — searches the whole bench with a full profile: totals, per-project history, all lines, cancellations, notes. Plus: flags now chase you — the guard bar pins to the row you just flagged (with Dismiss), Pay is real on FN techs (internal only — never exported to Madison), Tech records are editable on the Techs tab (one change fixes every row) with a quick-complete card on new-tech creation, Grid cards edit inline, and the bulk bar gained ⧉ Duplicate ×N and 🗑 Delete (unworked). New projects still arrive only via PDS from Sojourn (intake at M3).

Import site list / paste rows
Paste rows copied from any customer spreadsheet, or choose a .xlsx/.csv file. CPS maps the columns, applies the project rate card, and creates one work order per row — open seats are derived automatically from unassigned rows.

New Project — from PDS
The PDS is the only door into CPS. Two scenarios use this same wizard: (1) From Sojourn — a Closed Won deal in the CRM (in production this happens automatically the moment BSS approves; here you can paste the deal ID). (2) Dump-in — off-pipeline work called in directly. Both route to BSS for approval before invoicing releases.
Find a tech
Search by name, F2 ID, phone, email, city, employee type, or skill/note keyword — as you type. Arrows to move, Enter opens the profile, Esc closes.
New tech created — finish the record
30 seconds now saves a payroll chase later. The bench is only as good as its contact info.

You just met an Entry Guard 👋
One-time note — you won’t see this popup again.
CPS watches entries against this project’s own data and against margin targets. Nothing ever blocks your typing:
🟡 Yellow = worth a look — margin below target, or a value that differs from every peer line (possible typo). Review it, fix it, or Accept it.
🔴 Red = it’ll bite — a money-losing line or missing must-have. Red rows can’t enter the Master Invoice until fixed or explicitly Accepted.
The banner above the grid shows the reason and gives you Accept (goes on the record with your name) or Revise (jumps you to the cell).
